   Jerrilynn Miller, Memorial High School, received two $1,000 grants, one for photojournalism equipment, and the second for training materials and trips for the school's new student council. Awarded November 2005

              Lynda Phillips, Franklin School Librarian, will purchase classic literature in English and Spanish for the school's dual language immersion program. Awarded November 2005

Robin Carter, Aubrey T. Raiford grant recipient, will use her $1,000 to start and train a new debate squad at Memorial High School.

Susan Chirafis, Wilson School Physical Education Teacher, seeks a sound system to provide music for rhythmic movement, gymnastics, and aerobics.

  Virginia Sistrunk and Susan Blackwell, Headstart teachers at Sam Houston School, receive award in February 2005

    Patricia O'Neal, Character Education Teacher at Dowling School, receives award in February 2005.
